Born and raised in Brazil's largest city - São Paulo, I graduated from college in December of 2014 after a double major in B.A and Marketing. Having worked with marketing my whole life, I started in the CPG industry with dairy products and that's when I realized that I wasn't on the right path for my career, so I decided to change to positions that were more towards the entertainment industry. After winning a marketing lab contest in my college I got a position and started working on the marketing department of Brazil's largest football (Soccer in USA) team: SC Corinthians Paulista.
Pursuing the dream of living abroad for some time, I moved to the SF Bay Area on March of 2015 and at first I was gonna stay in the US only for 5 months. As opportunities started to arise, the 5 months turned to 12 months and the 12 months brought to me a working visa for the US, that's when I decided to look for jobs in here, and then: I joined the International Community Development team in May 2016, working with Wikia's Portuguese-Speaking communities.
I can say that I'm an Entertainment and Sports enthusiast! When I'm not watching some episodes of the 25 series that I'm currently following or the games of my favorite soccer teams, I love to spend some good time with my friends and meeting new people across the entertainment venues of SF's Bay Area.
Community Connect Involvement
My role in the Portuguese Speaking communities is to develop new wikis and bring back user-traffic along with content-production to the abandoned ones. For the CC I'll be there to support our Portuguese admins and users whenever they need help on Community Development.
